Helpful Tips!

Picking the best berries:

  • Find a blue colored berry.  The white and green berries are not ready and will not ripen at home.
  • Give it a little turn and a little pull, if it comes off easily, it is ripe.

Recommended to bring:

  • Closed toe shoes. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the blueberries.
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Cold water
  • Bug spray for chiggers
  • Cooling items  (hand held spray fans, cold towels for around your neck etc.)
